Italy (officially the Italian Republic) is a coastal country in southern Europe, which consists mainly of Apennines peninsula together with two large islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. In north, Italy border to Switzerland and Austria in the northeast of Slovenia in the northwest of France, the southwest has a maritime border with Tunisia. Independent State of San Marino and the Vatican are enclave within Italian territory. Campione d'Italia (2.6 km ²) is the only Italian Exclave in Switzerland.

Rome is the capital city of Italy, the capital of the Lazio Region (Lazio) and Rome province. It is one of the largest cities in Europe with around two million and half people. Rome is also known as the eternal city. It is situated on the banks of the River Tiber and on the seven hills.
